During ‘On a Clear Day’, an exhibition centred on contemporary landscapes in (Nordic) art, Wapke Feenstra stayed at Sophienholm. This place in Lyngby is well-known for the country house where Frederikke Brun held her salons at the beginning of the 19th century. Wapke read the German poems and writings of Frederikke during her stay, while examining the landscape and the daily routine of the country house. Meanwhile she received poems about the Frisian landscape written by Beart Oosterhaven, a poet who lives in Wjelsryp, the village where Wapke was born and grew up. During the exhibition Beart wrote eight poems expressing his relationship to the landscape and area. Wapke wrote texts about her stay at Sophienholm. The texts were published in “A stay in the country”.

Tijdens de tentoonstelling ‘On a Clear Day’ – een tentoonstelling rond het hedendaagse landschap in de (Noord-Europese) kunst – heeft Wapke Feenstra drie weken op het landgoed Sophienholm in Lyngby gewoond. In deze periode beschreef zij het landschap en de omgeving. Ondertussen las zij Duitse teksten en gedichten van Frederikke Brun, die begin 19e eeuw op het landgoed woonde en er culturele salons hield. Wapke ontving tijdens haar verblijf gedichten over het Friese landschap van de dichter Beart Oosterhaven. Hij woont in het dorp waar zij is opgegroeid (Wjelsryp). Oosterhaven beschreef het landschap van zijn eigen woonomgeving. De wederzijdse observaties zijn verzameld in het boek “Een buitenverblijf”.
